Welcome to the Lightning Bug Larp Wiki
Lightning Bug is a system for Live Action Role Play covering the story of “the 'Verse”, Joss Whedon's sci-fi Western universe as presented in the TV show 'Firefly' and the film 'Serenity'. Our story strongly draws from these but has carried on since their official end, along with the other associated media (books, comics) from this universe.
This is a 'Roleplay over Ruleplay' system. We aim to give players a cinematic experience, where they can be Big Shiny Heroes or Big Bad Villains. A degree of melodrama is almost expected. If a player is in doubt over how to act, or what rule is to be used: Rule of Cool applies!
